MAINTENANCE EMERGENCIES

Cedar Brooke would like to remind our residents that we have 24 hour on call maintenance. Residents can call  our main  office number  

816-373-8500  24 hours a day 7 days a week to report a service request or maintenance emergency. Some maintenance issues are emergencies and require immediate attention. Other maintenance issues, while important, may be able to wait until regular business hours. While we are always available to take your request, our maintenance team will only respond after regular business hours to those issues that are truly an emergency.

  What is considered a Maintenance Emergency?

Excess Water Overflow: Leaks from the toilet, water heater, or other source that floods the apartment, saturates the carpet, or the water flow cannot be stopped.

Water Heater Leak:  If there is any water leaking from the water heater please contact management immediately. Even if it is just a small amount of water or it is not leaking but is not functioning correctly, call immediately as this could prevent a larger problem.

Sewer Line Leak: Any issue having to do with sewer lines whether it is leaking, baked up, or damaged in any way.

Electrical shortage or Fires: Anything that is causing a fire or spark. Stop using it and call immediately. In case of a fire emergency, also call 911 and notify the fire department.

Broken Windows: Whether in your apartment or your neighbors’ call immediately  to report broken windows. So that the apartment can be

secured and  to avoid others from injuries cased  the by debris.

When calling in to report a service request or emergency please be sure to be specific. Make sure you let us know, your apartment number, your name, and a phone number where you can be reached. A maintenance tech will give the residents a call back to determine the issue, whether or not it is an emergency, and how best to resolve it. Residents who fail to provide accurate information may be subject to a charge.
